Soaring Spirits has a long history of creating connections between widowed people in the virtual world – our Widowed Pen Pal Program was the first program we offered back in 2008 which allowed people to connect via email. As the need for virtual programs has continued to increase (especially recently), Soaring Spirits has met the demand by growing our virtual offerings so that any widowed person anywhere in the world who has access to an internet connection can receive the understanding, support, and validation that comes from having a widowed community. Our virtual programs include several options offering varying levels of connection, and they are a great option for anyone who lives in an area where we don’t yet offer in-person programs.
