Soaring Spirits is committed to effectively and transparently utilizing all funding we receive to further our mission of providing resources, programs and communities of support for widowed people around the world.
We employ an independent accounting firm for financial reviews and audits, an independent financial manager for monthly financial oversight, and an on staff bookkeeper for weekly account reviews and data entry. Soaring Spirits adheres to all expected financial standards and best practices for the nonprofit industry.
Independent financial audits or reviews will be completed at a minimum of every five years, and posted for public review. Our next audit will be completed in 2025.
Soaring Spirits files an IRS 990 tax form annually which can be reviewed on our Candid (GuideStar) Nonprofit Reporting profile.
Soaring Spirits has earned the Candid GuideStar Platinum Transparency Seal, demonstrating our commitment to fiscal responsibility.
