Michelle Dippel is an Executive Vice President of HNTB Corporation, an
employee-owned transportation infrastructure firm and serves as the firm’s Western Region President, overseeing vital and complex infrastructure programs in growth markets in 13 states, as well as overseeing the firm’s architecture practice.
As Western Region president, Michelle is responsible for leading sales, operations and project delivery in the region, overseeing two divisions, eight operating offices, numerous field offices and more than 1200 colleagues. She actively represents HNTB in civic-and industry-related associations, helps recruit top talent to the firm, and fosters relationships with clients and thought leaders. In addition, Michelle is an avid mentor and passionate advocate for women in the transportation industry.
Michelle is active in her community, both professionally and personally. She serves on the advisory boards of ACE Mentor and Accelerator for America and is on the board of the Association of Washington Business. In addition, Michelle is a founding board member of Soaring Spirits International and has served on the board for 16 years. She currently serves as the board secretary.
Michelle grew up in Austin, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin,
where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. If she isn’t working at the
job she loves, you’ll usually find her exploring somewhere new, finding live music,
and always in search of great champagne.
