I am an experienced accounting and finance professional with a strong background in financial management, paired with a long-standing commitment to community involvement and leadership. I hold a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business from California Lutheran University, where I graduated summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Northridge, graduating cum laude.
I began my career in banking before joining Anthony International, where I spent over a decade advancing through leadership roles, including Controller and Budget and Cost Accounting Manager. In these positions, I was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, banking operations, audit coordination, and inventory reconciliation, while managing teams of up to 20 employees. I also played a key role in mergers and acquisitions and led initiatives that improved cash flow, reduced costs, and streamlined accounting processes.
After stepping away from my professional career in 2008 to raise my two daughters, I remained actively engaged in financial and organizational leadership by serving as Treasurer and President for various school, sports, and youth organizations. These roles allowed me to continue applying my financial expertise while supporting my community and further strengthening my organizational and leadership skills.
Now, with my daughters grown, I am excited to return to the workforce as a bookkeeper, bringing with me both my professional experience and years of hands-on financial management through volunteer work.
I have been happily married for over 20 years. In my free time, I enjoy dance fitness classes, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and supporting my daughters in their competitive sports.
