Aracely Avila is a longtime Ventura County nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience in fund development, community engagement, and youth advocacy. She currently serves as Director of Fund Development at Soaring Spirits International, supporting widowed individuals through programs like Camp Widow and the Newly Widowed Program, and is the Founder and President of I’m A Kid Who Can, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through leadership, financial literacy, and family engagement programs.
Deeply rooted in the Oxnard and Ventura County community, Aracely is an active member of LULAC Manuel Lopez Council #3147, the Meadowlark Service League, and a board member of the Oxnard Monday Club Foundation and One Step A La Vez. A graduate of the Cal Lutheran Board Leadership Institute, she is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings a relationship-driven approach to every organization and cause she serves. Aracely is passionate about strengthening Ventura County’s nonprofit community and creating opportunities for local families and youth to thrive.
