Jennifer serves as principle of her own independent consultancy. She is a creative problem-solver and measured risk-taker, focused on driving sustainable bottom-line improvements. She values efficiency and works to increase impact with minimal cost. She has worked as an independent consultant since 1999, providing comprehensive outcome measurement system development and program evaluation expertise to a variety of non-profit organizations. Additional consulting in fund development, strategic planning, program planning and policy development is complimented by training and retreat planning. Clients range from small to large nonprofits with $400,000 – $20M budgets, and include think tanks, educational experts and membership, case management and direct service organizations. For 12 years, Jennifer was an Executive Director for the Chicago Public Schools, leveraging $60+M in staff and resources to improve students’ personal development. She is a content expert in Strategic Planning and Implementation in the Nonprofit sector, as well as Social Emotional Learning, School Culture and Climate, School Based Behavioral Health, Youth Violence Prevention and Nonprofit Management. Jennifer was the recipient of the Joseph E. Zins award for early career achievement and holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and travel, and has the dirt from more than 30 countries caking her soon-to-be-replaced boots.
