Celebrating Mexican Independence Day

Meet us for great music outdoors at Vino Godfather on Mare Island in Vallejo on Saturday September 16th! Vino Godfather Winery is located at: 1005 Walnut Ave · Vallejo, CA. We will meet at noon, the show starts at 1:00. Tickets are $10 online, or $15 at the door. They can be purchased online here: https://events.vinogodfather.com/los-coshinos/

There will be a food truck onsite, but we would like to have a picnic lunch, so please bring a dish to share. We will try to get one of the tables at the venue, but please bring a chair just in case. The concert venue is through the winery in the back, we’ll be sitting at a table with a Soaring Spirits sign.

Los Cochinos is an established Latin rock and Soul band, said by many to have been “passed the torch” from Carlos Santana as one of the only original, Latin Rock and Soul bands that continue to create and perform original music in the style of Santana.

The band’s sound has been described as similar to that of Santana, El Chicano, War and Tower of Power. Alfonso’s melodic leads are unique and combine with the Latin percussion as well as the sax to create a unique, original Latin rock and soul sound; familiar, yet distinct. The band also includes some tasty covers that will keep you on the dance floor!
