SUNDAY HIKE & CAMPFIRE

This week we will be joining another group called The Happy Honkers.

For those of you that would like to hike, Please be ready to leave the parking lot by 12:00.  For those of you who would like to come out for the campfire, you are welcome to come out for 12 and enjoy the weather or come out for 1:00 when the hikers will return.

Directions: Take Westside Road to the right off Highway 97. It is about 7 kilometres from this exit to the park and there are lots of signs.
The entrance to the campsite and day use area is well marked and on the right.

The hiking trail entrance is not – it is on the left just before you come to the park entrance. Watch for the parking lot on the left. If you are coming from Highway 97 and reach the park entrance you have to backtrack slightly to the hiking trail entrance.  Please look for Lori who will have a Group Sign.

Please bring something to cook, something to drink and if you like food to share. You may also want to bring a lawn chair.
